THE WEEKLY HYPELETTER - 30/06/2023
Some challenges arise.
TL;DR
This newsletter is going to be a brief one. Our focus this week has been primarily on two key areas: the development of the ‘patrol zone’ level and the implementation of the new Combat System. The ‘patrol zone’ is shaping up to be an engaging playground for exploration and experimentation. However, we encountered some unforeseen challenges during the implementation of the Combat System, and to ensure its integration, we may require an additional week. A final decision will be made by the end of this week.

Creating the Combat System
This week has been quite busy as we’ve been focused on implementing the new Combat System. However, due to insufficient planning, we may need to extend the timeline for its implementation by an additional week. We need to ensure the system meets the high standards we’ve set for the experience, so taking the extra time is necessary to get it right.
Designing the ‘Patrol Zone’
In addition to the Combat System, we’ve also been spending time designing what we internally refer to as the ‘patrol zone’. This area serves as a large ‘playground’ for players to explore and engage in. Our aim with the patrol zone is to provide players with the opportunity to freely roam, experiment with various builds, and test their skills against numerous challenging combatants. Furthermore, a dedicated training area will be available for players to refine their builds and explore new ones too.
